A ULV atomiser breaks liquid into droplets small enough to settle evenly across a surface instead of running off it. In practice that means you cover a room with noticeably less product than a conventional sprayer would need, which adds up quickly across a disinfection contract.

Being cordless is the point of this model. Corridors, stairwells, vehicles and outdoor areas rarely have a socket where you need one, and dragging a lead through an occupied building is both slow and a trip hazard.

A handheld ULV unit is the tool for the jobs that do not justify a backpack: a single hotel room, a vehicle interior, a server room, a treatment room between patients. The fine mist settles onto surfaces rather than soaking them, so the space is usable again quickly. Battery life is the constraint to plan around, and operators covering several rooms in a shift usually carry a second battery rather than a second machine.
