Overview
Fumigation is the deep clean of pest control: a gas treatment that penetrates commodities, packaging and structures to reach insects that no spray can touch. It is the required standard for export containers, stored grain and quarantine treatments, and it is serious work that begins with a site assessment, because dosage, exposure time and sealing method all depend on the commodity, the space and the target pest.
Our fumigation teams handle shipping containers, warehouses, silos, processed food stocks and timber, working to quarantine treatment standards. Every job is monitored with gas detection equipment through to ventilation and formal clearance.

How the treatment works
Site assessment
A fumigator assesses the commodity, space and sealing requirements first. Dosage and exposure calculations depend entirely on this assessment.
Sealing and application
The stack, container or structure is sealed under gas-proof sheeting or its own envelope, and the fumigant is introduced at the calculated dose.
Exposure and monitoring
Gas concentrations are monitored through the exposure period to confirm lethal levels are held for the full required time.
Ventilation and clearance
After exposure, the space is ventilated and gas levels verified with detection equipment before a clearance certificate is issued and the area released.
Safety measures
Fumigation is performed only by licensed fumigators under strict exclusion protocols. Warning placards are posted, the area is secured for the full exposure period, and re-entry happens only after instrument-verified clearance. This is the most tightly controlled service we offer, and we do not cut corners on it.

- Ensure the space or container can be sealed and left undisturbed for the exposure period
- Share any buyer or quarantine documentation requirements before the job

- Do not break seals or enter the area before formal clearance
- Retain the fumigation certificate with your shipping documents
- Ventilate commodities per the clearance instructions before handling
- Book follow-up monitoring for long-term storage where advised
