Overview

Termites work quietly. By the time you notice sagging door frames or hollow skirting boards, a colony may have been feeding inside your walls for months. Our termite programme starts with a proper site inspection, because treating termites without first mapping their entry points and activity zones wastes your money and leaves the colony intact.

Depending on what the inspection finds, we use soil barrier treatment, direct wood treatment or baiting systems. For new constructions we provide pre-construction soil treatment that protects the slab and foundations before the first brick is laid.

What a termite treatment covers is the structure, not the individual insects you happened to see. A soil barrier protects the ground a colony would travel through, direct timber treatment deals with what is already inside the wood, and baiting works on the colony itself over a period. Afterwards you should expect to see some activity for a while: a barrier does not kill on contact, it works as termites cross it. Where a programme includes monitoring visits they are scheduled before we leave, and drywood termite treatment is a separate treatment, quoted on its own.

How the treatment works

Safety measures

We use termiticides registered for structural use and apply them at label rates only. Injection points are sealed after treatment, and technicians brief you on re-entry times for treated rooms. Products are selected to bind to soil rather than leach into groundwater.
